During the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, several countries made their citizens stay at home to prevent the virus from spreading; this illustration was created to turn a difficult moment we were going through into something we could laugh about.
Inspired by the conversations in Sprachcafes and the exhibition’s focus on diverse female voices, the poster interpreted this dialogue by weaving together five musical staves, each representing a different perspective on femininity.
After four years of living in the neighbourhood, I decided it was time to create a small clothing line based on the theme. If you are a Berliner, you know how it is: bold and rough, trashy but cool.
I consider it a great privilege to get to know people and places in a more personal way, and to discover the quirks that make them special and irreplaceable.
This pattern design celebrates the little things and the seemingly mundane aspects of everyday life in Berlin.
Fresh, delicious and fun. These were the core features of the brand’s personality that inspired this design.
From the branding definition, colour selection, and guidelines, to the packaging illustrations as well as the design, it was a great brief to work on.
This collaborative animation was inspired by the analogue Exquisite Corpse game, and created in just 15 days by 13 artists who had never met before.
It was an incredible experience where a few simple rules were set, but beyond that, each artist had the freedom to bring their own unique style and ideas to life.
A bit about the process:
Music: The composer created a nature-inspired track, divided into 5-second loops to allow for seamless sections.
First Stage: Each of the 12 animators was assigned a 5-second segment, and without knowing about other people’s ideas, they submitted their first frame after a few days.
Second Stage: Each artist created an animation that connected their piece to the next frame, ensuring a smooth and unified transition without knowing what the following piece was about.
Final Stage: Compositing and Screening at the oldest Cinema in Berlin
Reel and some selected Stillframes from 2D and Cel animations
The words we use shape the way we think: it’s the smallest phrases, repeated over time, that influence our perception of a topic or a person. Language reflects a society’s values, and it’s time to challenge the meaning of harmful expressions embedded in our daily speech.
This series identifies one of such expressions, reclaiming “like a girl” from a diminishing remark into a statement of strength. Throw, fight, and run like a girl; powerfully, unapologetically, and with impact. Let’s redefine these words to celebrate who we are, as individuals and as a community.
Meet Suzie, the cutest and laziest dog on Earth.
She is a morning dog, jumping and playing as she wakes up, thinking about her upcoming breakfast.
Is easy to tell when she is happy; she has the tongue out!
Our memories layer upon each other like the rings of a tree, each marking the passing of time and shaping who we are. Just as the width of a tree’s rings reveals years of abundance or drought, our experiences form a landscape of highs and lows: mountains rising from moments of struggle and triumph. These peaks and valleys carve out our identity, each contour shaped by joy, hardship, and everything in between. Together, they create the ever-evolving map of the self, where every past moment leaves its trace, shaping how we see ourselves and the world around us.
