I’m Mireia, a Visual Designer interested in creating thoughtful visual worlds through art direction, image-making, design, illustration and motion.

With a background in architecture and visual arts, I approach projects from both a conceptual and intuitive perspective. I’m drawn to the early stages of a project: researching, collecting, observing and finding the visual idea that can give it a distinct character.

My work moves between editorial, visual identity, image-making and moving image, often bringing together analogue processes, illustration and digital design. I’m interested in work that feels considered but not overly polished; tactile, expressive and human.

I enjoy developing ideas from the first sketch through to the final piece, whether that takes the form of a publication, identity, campaign, animation or physical object.

Currently based in Berlin, relocating to Perth, Australia.
